MediaChalk was created to provide an online, educational platform for digital storytelling and project-based learning. Unlike many of the educational websites today, which focus on aspects of gaming to attract student attention, MediaChalk uses age-appropriate images, stimulating music, and the thrill of creativity and originality to engage students in learning.
MediaChalk users create movies by dragging and dropping images, adding text, recording voice narration, and inserting music for a soundtrack. Completed movies can be emailed or shared with classmates and other MediaChalk users. The feedback from students, teachers, parents, and administrators continues to be fantastic.
Students first used MediaChalk to create movies in December of 2009. Now, nearly 100,000 worldwide users enjoy making, watching, and sharing MediaChalk movies. We invite you to come join the fun!
